Monday Morning Green Smoothie

Should we detox from the weekend?

 

My FAVORITE Green Monday-Morning smoothie.  A great way to start the week.

INGREDIENTS

1 Cup of water
½ cucumber (pealed)
½ green apple
¼ green lemon with peel (you can take the peel off if you prefer, the reason I leave the peel is to aid digestion)
½ cup of spinach
2 mint leaves
1 tablespoon of Hawaiian spirulina
1 tablespoon of organic grade B maple syrup
ICE (if you like)

INSTRUCTIONS

Put all together in a blender, and blend for 3 or 4 min.
Listo! Serve in a Glass and drink fresh.

For me, Green smoothies are perfect for Monday detox, just in case i have been eating unhealthy or naughty on the weekend haha!. And the rest of the week I just make a green veggie soups and salads to keep on with the green intake.

This is a STRONG prana.  According to Ayurvedic medicine, green juices every day aggravate the Vata (Air/Ether) dosha in our bodies.  I don’t recommend to drink this green smoothie more than two times a week.
